
PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - Acting Regent of Bekasi Dedy Supriyadi delivered a response to the General Views of the Faction on 3 Draft Regional Regulations at the Plenary Meeting of the Regency DPRD at the Bekasi Regency DPRD Building, Monday (11/4/2024).
The three Draft Regional Regulations are the Draft Regional Regulation on the 2025 Regional Budget, the Draft Regional Regulation on the Bekasi Regency Environmental Protection and Management Plan for 2023-2053 and the Draft Regional Regulation on the Provision of Investment Incentives and/or Facilities.
The plenary meeting was led directly by the Chairman of the Bekasi Regency DPRD, Ade Sukron, along with the ranks of deputy chairmen.
Dedi said that the Bekasi Regency APBD Draft Regional Regulation for the 2025 Fiscal Year is targeted at IDR 7.27 trillion sourced from Regional Original Income (PAD) of IDR 4.14 trillion and transfer income of IDR 3.12 trillion.
Regarding the Draft Regional Regulation on the 2023-2053 Environmental Protection and Management Plan, Dedy said that the Bekasi Regency Government (Pemdakab) views the importance of protecting and managing the environment and climate change which have a direct impact on life.
"We hope that this Draft Regional Regulation will be a guide to maintaining sustainable environmental quality for a better future for Bekasi Regency," he said.
Regarding the Draft Regional Regulation on Investment Incentives and Ease, Dedi said that the investment climate is one of the main priorities of Bekasi Regency as the largest industrial area in Southeast Asia.
"We hope to create a strong legal basis in providing incentives for investors in opening up employment opportunities and strengthening the regional economy, without neglecting the principles of sustainability and community welfare," he said.
Dedi said, the views of the factions submitted, can enrich and perfect the three Draft Regional Regulations. So that it can be an effective tool in improving the welfare of the community and supporting sustainable development.
He ensured that in the special committee meeting discussing the three Draft Regional Regulations, all related regional apparatuses would accompany them so that they would run smoothly according to expectations and according to the agreed schedule.
