PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Acting (Pj.) Bogor Regent Bachril Bakri requested that the recapitulation of the vote count for the 2024 Bogor Regency Pilkada be careful, professional, and uphold integrity.

This was stated at the plenary meeting for the vote counting recapitulation, in Babakan Madang, Monday (2/12/2024).

The open plenary meeting to recapitulate the results of the vote count was held from 2 - 6 December 2024.

Bachril Bakri said that the recapitulation of the vote count results is very important in the Pilkada process. At this stage, all vote count data that has been collected from all TPS in Bogor Regency will be matched and verified.

"All parties involved must carry out their duties carefully, professionally, and uphold integrity, so that the results of the plenary meeting to recapitulate the vote count are of high quality," said Bachril.

Bachril said, everyone hopes that this process will run conducively, transparently, and in accordance with applicable provisions, to ensure that every vote is counted properly and fairly. The settlement process must be carried out openly, transparently, and based on applicable legal principles.

"The Election Organizing Committee must provide space for witnesses and related parties to file objections or clarifications regarding differences in existing data. Every decision or clarification taken must be well documented, so that it can be legally accounted for," said Bachril.

Bachril is grateful that the simultaneous Pilkada in Bogor Regency went peacefully, smoothly, and conducively. He also appreciated all parties involved.

Bogor Regency KPU Chairman Adi Kurnia explained that this recapitulation is a tiered stage that we have implemented.

"Starting from the TPS level, then to the sub-district level, and today at the Bogor Regency level. God willing, we are targeting completion on Wednesday, December 4, 2024," explained Adi.

Adi expressed his gratitude to the Bogor Regency Government (Pemdakab) and the Forkopimda ranks who have supported us in implementing the 2024 Pilkada. So that it can run smoothly, safely, and conducively.

"We also express our gratitude to our friends at the Voting Committee (PPS), the Sub-district Election Committee (PPK), and the Voting Organizer Group (KPPS) throughout Bogor Regency who have made the 2024 Pilkada a success," said Adi Kurnia.
