PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Bogor Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab) through the Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) is collaborating with PT. Telkomsel and PT. Telkom, and related stakeholders are turning Ciguha Village into an Independent Signal Village, coinciding with the 116th National Resurrection Day (Harkitnas) and ahead of the 542nd Bogor Anniversary (HJB), Monday (20/5/2024).
The launch of the signal independence program was directly carried out by the Acting Regent of Bogor Asmawa Tosepu together with the Deputy Chair of the Bogor Regency DPRD, Wawan Haikal Kurdi, Head of the Communications and Information Service, Head of the Youth and Sports Service, PT. Telkomsel, PT. Telkom, Nanggung Subdistrict Head, Nanggung Forkopimcam, Village Heads throughout Nanggung Subdistrict, community leaders in Ciguha village.
Asmawa revealed that to coincide with the 116th National Day of National Education and welcoming the 542nd HJB, the party declared Ciguha Village to be a signal independent village.
He said, as we know, Ciguha Village has so far been isolated from communication access or still in a blank spot area. Today, Ciguha Village is independent and access to information and communication is open.
"Since Ciguha Village was founded, only today has signal access been opened. With this signal independence, the people of Ciguha Village can easily access information. "Of course it will have a positive impact in improving welfare in the fields of economy, education, health and so on," he said.
Asmawa explained that Ciguha is known to have extraordinary tourist attraction potential. With good management and supported by the availability of an internet network, it is hoped that the Ciguha tourist area can progress further and develop into one of the leading tourist attractions in Bogor Regency.
"The Bogor Regency Government will ensure that communication access services are provided fairly and evenly without any discrimination. If additional BTS towers are still needed, then that is our responsibility. "Through the Communications and Information Service, we continue to synergize with various parties to expand the telecommunications coverage area," he said.
Asmawa also appreciated PT. Telkomsel and PT. Telkom for its support so that the people of Ciguha Village can now enjoy signal independence.
He also appreciated various parties who have supported development in Bogor Regency, including PT. Antam UBPE Pongkor which always provides assistance to local residents.
"Then elements of the Bogor Regency DPRD work together to ensure that the development program runs well. "What we are doing is a form of synergy and collaboration between the Bogor Regency Government, Forkopimda, Forkopimcam, community leaders and all related stakeholders," he said.
It is known that Ciguha Village has not enjoyed an internet signal. With the declaration of signal independence, signal independence is now given to be able to access internet network telecommunications technology. This is a synergy program in building telecommunications infrastructure in areas that do not yet have a telecommunications network.
