PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Acting Bogor Regent, Asmawa Tosepu together with the Indonesian Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi as well as the Managing Director of PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI) Asdo Artrivianto and the Managing Director of Agung Podomoro Land, Bacelius Ruru.

Conducted a direct inspection of the Tenjo Flyover Groundbreaking location which is located near Tenjo Station, Tenjo Village, Tenjo District, Bogor Regency, and plans for the construction of the New Jatake Station located in Jatake Village, Pagedangan District, Tangerang Regency (30/3/2024).

Asmawa Tosepu stated that the Groundbreaking of the Tenjo Flyover which is located near Tenjo Station is a very important and very strategic activity, in addition to reducing traffic congestion it is also for safety and most importantly to encourage economic growth in the Tenjo area in particular and Bogor Regency in general.

On this occasion, Asmawa Tosepu also expressed his respect and gratitude to the central government, in this case the Minister of Transportation and staff, then PT Agung Podomoro Land which has collaborated with the regional government and the private sector in building the Tenjo Flyover.

"Hopefully this will be a spur for economic growth in Bogor Regency, especially in the Tenjo area," explained Acting. Regent of Bogor.

Then, the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, Budi Karya, explained that the construction of the Tenjo Flyover was carried out in collaboration, which of course really helped the community to eliminate the level track between the road and the train.

Every train that stops at Tenjo Station always blocks people passing between Bogor and Tigaraksa Regencies.

With the construction of the Tenjo Flyover, this will no longer happen and there will be no more problems on the level track.

This development is a form of the government's commitment to providing convenience to the community.

"President Joko Widodo always conveys messages to us to carry out the construction of the Tenjo Flyover well. "Through collaboration between the government, KAI, PT Agung Podomoro and the Bogor Regency Government, this has been implemented well," explained the Indonesian Minister of Transportation.

According to Budi Karya, apart from the Tenjo Flyover, they will also build a new, more appropriate station and move Tenjo Station to Jatake Village, Pagedangan District, Tangerang Regency, they will not leave the old station but functionally it will be moved. (Diskominfo Bogor Regency/Fauziah)
