PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Acting (Acting) Regent of Bogor Asmawa Tosepu appreciated the young people of Bogor Regency who entered the Grand Final round of the Mojang Jajaka (Moka) Election for Bogor Regency in 2024.

Asmawa advised, as a tourism ambassador, Mojang Jajaka has the task of promoting the cultural tourism potential that exists in Bogor Regency.

This was what Asmawa said at the Grand Final of the Mojang Jajaka Election for Bogor Regency in 2024, at the Regional Secretariat Auditorium, Cibinong, Saturday (20/7/2024).

According to Asmawa, Mojang Jajaka is an inspiration for the younger generation, to continue to preserve the rich culture of West Java, and make it the pride of the Indonesian nation.

Furthermore, Mojang Jajaka will carry out the task of becoming a tourism ambassador who plays a role in promoting the potential of tourism, culture and the creative economy in Bogor Regency.

"Mojang Jajaka is not only useful for preserving culture, but also has a positive impact on society," said Asmawa.

Asmawa explained that the election of Mojang Jajaka was not just a contest, in the midst of the onslaught of modernization and globalization, Mojang Jajaka was present as a banner that raised the spirit of pride and dedication to fight for rich local values.

"Mojang Jajaka is not only a regional ambassador, but the embodiment of a young spirit who is full of enthusiasm and determination, to preserve ancestral heritage, as well as promote the cultural richness and potential of Bogor Regency," explained Asmawa.

Asmawa said that the spirit of Mojang Jajaka shows that local culture is not only a legacy of the past, but also a valuable asset that needs to be preserved and developed for the future.
