PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Acting Regent of Garut Barnas Adjidin together with Garut Police Chief AKBP Rohman Yongky Dilatha, and his staff checked security posts ahead of the Takbir Eid 1445 H/2024 AD in Garut Regency on Sunday evening (16/6/2024).
With these steps, it is hoped that the Eid al-Adha celebration in Garut Regency can take place safely and comfortably for the entire community.
In this security measure, Barnas emphasized the importance of creating conducive conditions in society, especially at the moment of Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah in Garut Regency, so that the celebration can take place smoothly.
"We together have the same commitment, namely how every area in Garut Regency is safe, comfortable, accessible to the public," he said.
Barnas also appreciated the efforts of the Garut Regency Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), especially the Garut Police, which continues to work hard to regulate traffic flow day and night.
"Of course the results we get can be monitored tonight as safe, smooth, controlled so that people can freely carry out their usual activities," he said.
Garut Police Chief AKBP Rohman Yongky Dilatha said that his party had appealed to the public not to carry out mobile takbir and prefer to carry out worship in their respective areas of residence in order to maintain the smoothness and conduciveness of traffic flow.
"Of course we have informed all levels, both from the sub-district, village and sub-district levels, which are in line with the policies of the regional government and within the jurisdiction of the Garut Police," he said.
Based on monitoring results, the Garut Police Chief concluded that traffic flow on Takbir night was quite smooth. His party has carried out partitions at the borders to limit vehicles entering urban areas.
"What's the point? So that it doesn't get too crowded in the city because the road capacity allows vehicles to still run smoothly so that people's daily activities are not hampered," he said.
