Acting Regent of Garut Invites Bungbulang Community to Prioritize Health and Education

PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Acting Regent of Garut Barnas Adjidin accompanied by the Chair of the Garut Regency Family Empowerment and Welfare Mobilization Team (TP-PKK) Sri Kartika Barnas Adjidin visited Bungbulang District, Garut Regency, Wednesday (6/3/2024).

In his speech, Barnas emphasized the importance of health and education for society.

In front of the audience, Barnas asked that health services at the Community Health Center be improved to ensure that people remain healthy. He also invited village heads to actively promote health activities, such as Posyandu, to their residents.

"We can work hard, we can do whatever we want but still maintain our health," he said.

Barnas also underlined the importance of education for regional progress. He encouraged all children in Bungbulang District to have access to good education in order to continue the leadership relay.

"If you don't get educated, don't expect Bungbulang to be developed, the villages are developed, so encourage the whole community to be educated," he said.

Pls. Bungbulang Subdistrict Head Ajat Sudrajat explained that Bungbulang Subdistrict consists of 13 villages with the furthest village from the subdistrict office being Gunung Jampang Village which is 32 kilometers away with a travel time of 150 minutes if using a two-wheeled vehicle.

In front of the Acting Regent, Ajat reported that Bungbulang District had implemented Musrenbang and set several development priorities, including the construction of a bridge connecting Cihikeu Village and Bojong Village, as well as the construction of a General Hospital.

Apart from that, it was also reported that thanks to cooperation between Forkopimcam Bungbulang, religious leaders and the community, the 2024 elections in Bungbulang District ran smoothly and peacefully.

During his visit, the Acting Regent of Garut and invited guests also provided food assistance to the local community.
