PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Acting Regent of Garut Barnas Adjidin attended the Inauguration of the Garut Regency Civil Service Higher Education Alumni Family Association (IKPTK) which was held at the Fave Hotel Ballroom, Garut Regency, Wednesday (31/7/2024).

In his speech, Barnas congratulated the newly appointed IKPTK administrators. He emphasized the importance of strong ties between members to ensure the sustainability of the organization.

"A bond means binding one another. Don't let the existing bond not be strong. To ensure its strength, of course there must be clear communication and steps for the bond," he said.

He also reminded administrators and alumni to maintain the good name of the organization, so that the positive image of IKPTK is maintained.

"I ask that there be no negative things that could tarnish the good name of our great alumni," he said.

Barnas also highlighted the great potential that Garut Regency has with the large number of officials within the Garut Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab) who come from STPDN. According to him, this is a valuable asset that must be utilized properly.

"I see that many officials in Garut Regency come from STPDN. This is not a coincidence, but rather the great potential possessed by STPDN alumni. With such a large number, of course there will be many programs produced," he said.
