PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Acting Regent of Garut Barnas Adjidin visited a teenager who was a victim of violent theft at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) dr. Slamet Garut, Sunday (12/5/2024).

The teenager is a resident of Cikajang District. Meanwhile, the mother died, allegedly killed by the perpetrator of the theft.

On behalf of the Garut Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab), Barnas expressed his condolences for this incident. He hopes that this 14 year old teenager can recover, both physically and psychologically, and guarantees medical support and monitors his family's progress.

"Because of course this incident had a heavy psychological impact on him, so the government guarantees that everything, especially the treatment, is free," said Barnas.

In his statement, Barnas emphasized the importance of moral education as a learning tool for society, and hoped that a similar incident would not happen again in Garut. He also emphasized that the teenager's medical costs would be borne by the regional government, including for the recovery of his health.

"So, we will see whether he has BPJS or not. Of course, if BPJS doesn't pay, then even if there is payment, all of us, the extended family of the regional government, will bear all the expenses incurred by them, for the restoration of his health," he said. .
