PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Dharmawan attended the launch of the Special Title Strategy for Accelerating Rehabilitation for Narcotics Addicts (S-Kobar) at the Bandung Police Hall (5/9/2024).

On this occasion, Dharmawan emphasized the commitment of the Bandung City Government in supporting members of the Police and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in distributing and distributing drugs.

"A number of efforts that we have made include preventive measures through socialization and education," he said.

Meanwhile, from the internal side, the Bandung City Government routinely conducts urine tests on ASN within the Bandung City Government to ensure that public service providers work in prime condition and are free from the influence of drugs.

Regarding S-Kobar, Dharmawan expressed his appreciation. The innovation in handling drug users through the presence of S-Kobar, he said, is a strategy so that users (of drugs or illegal drugs) can be free from dependence.

"We hope that the presence of S-Kobar can formulate matters and strategies related to rehabilitation for users who are addicted to drugs," said Dharmawan.

Meanwhile, Bandung Police Chief Senior Commissioner Budi Sartono stated that the presence of S-Kobar will be in line with the acceleration of legal certainty for drug users. In addition, S-Kobar is also sure that it will make the TAT facilities owned by the Bandung City BNN more optimal.

"According to government regulations, if a drug user is declared an addict according to the case title or TAT, then what is attempted is rehabilitation," he said.

For information, S-Kobar is a special title to accelerate legal certainty, thus accelerating the rehabilitation process for individuals addicted to drugs. The Bandung Police Narcotics Investigation Unit is now opening a drug rehabilitation service consultation.
