PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - On New Year's Eve 2025, Acting Mayor of Bandung A. Koswara invited all parties to make the end of this year a moment of reflection.

He reminded us of the importance of evaluating our journey throughout the year and preparing ourselves for future challenges.

"The experience of carrying out duties as Acting Mayor of Bandung for three months has been very valuable. I feel that this has enriched my insight and honed my leadership skills. I would like to thank all my colleagues in the Bandung City Government for the cooperation that has been established until the end of this year," said Koswara in his remarks at the Pendopo, Tuesday (12/31/2024).

According to him, reflection at the end of this year is not only important personally, but also for the organization.

"The wisdom of this journey can be a valuable material for reflection. The remaining time this year must be utilized as well as possible for future improvements," he said.

Koswara also highlighted 2025 as an important transition period with the change of regional heads. This transition, he said, provides an opportunity for the bureaucracy to prepare for change thoroughly.

According to him, evaluating organizational structure is important to ensure relevance to current challenges and strategic issues.

In his view, the MSME sector and the creative economy, such as game development, must receive serious attention. In addition, filling vacant positions in the government environment also needs to be done in a timely manner to keep organizational regeneration running optimally.

Personally, Koswara said, this experience gave him a fundamental change in his perspective and mindset. He believes, leadership must continue to be enriched through learning from various sources and inspiring figures.

"We need to create challenges for ourselves to continue to develop. Conditions that push us out of our comfort zone will open our minds, insights, and strengthen our mentality and leadership character," he said.

He hopes that the community and the ranks of the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) can take advantage of this New Year's Eve moment to carry out deep reflection.

"With proper reflection and mature steps, we can face 2025 with more readiness and enthusiasm," he said.
