PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The General Elections Commission (KPU) has started the registration stage for Candidates for Mayor and Candidates for Deputy Mayor of Bandung City on August 27-29, 2024.

Responding to this, Acting Mayor of Bandung Bambang Tirtoyuliono hopes that the entire Pilkada process in Bandung City will run safely, conducively, and calmly.

"Domain at KPU. We all want the simultaneous Pilkada in Bandung City to run safely, conducively and calmly," he said.

Bambang said that the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) has prepared a regional development plan for the next 5 years. This is as material for explanation to prospective regional heads.

"The Bandung City Government has prepared a development plan, we have created the technocratic concept and its extraction will be collaborated with the KPU when needed. So the Bandung City Government is ready to explain, this is for campaign materials for the candidate pairs," he said.

As is known, the Regional Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) is expected to be a basis for regional head candidates to create their vision and mission.
