PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, visited Bandung City via the Husein Sastranegara Air Force Base, Bandung City (20/1/2025).

Prabowo visited Bandung City as part of a working visit to West Java.

President Prabowo's arrival was welcomed directly by the Acting Governor of West Java, Bey Triadi Machmudin and the Acting Mayor of Bandung, A. Koswara along with the ranks of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).

Prabowo transited in Bandung before inaugurating a number of electricity infrastructure projects at the Jatigede Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA), Sumedang Regency.

The project is part of the government's efforts to increase the capacity of the electricity sector in 18 provinces in Indonesia that are ready to operate.

After the inauguration, President Prabowo is scheduled to continue his journey back to Jakarta.

During the trip, President Prabowo used a Caracal helicopter from the Husein Sastranegara Air Force Base to the inauguration location in Sumedang.

This visit is an important moment for the development of energy infrastructure in the West Java region, which is also supported by the Bandung City Government. (Bandung City Communication and Information Service/Fauziah)
