PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - PLN Icon Plus together with PT PLN (Persero) are helping to encourage the progress of West Java tourism through the Cycling De Jabar (CDJ) 2024 event.

Together with CDJ, PLN initiated the Green Tourism movement for tourism in West Java.

PLN Icon Plus President Director Ari Rahmat Indra Cahyadi in his press release stated the company's commitment to maintaining sustainability and tourism dissatisfaction, especially in West Java.

"Through this event, we and PLN are collaborating with Cycling De Jabar and initiating the Green Tourism movement in West Java," he said.

With growing and sustainable tourism, continued Ari, it will boost the regional economy. Including, MSMEs which are one of the main drivers of the regional economy.

As a form of Green Tourism initiation, PLN and PLN Icon Plus collaborated with Jabarano Coffee and Yumaju in the Check Out Ride - Road to Cycling De Jabar 2024 event. Check Out Ride is a light cycling activity as preparation and physical training together before the actual race, namely Cycling West Java.

The Check Out Ride start/finish line is located at Jabarano Coffee Braga, Bandung with a route around the Bandung City area.

The activity was attended by more than 50 participants, both the general public, the cycling community, and several Cycling de Jabar 2024 participants from the Jakarta and Bandung areas. (Guh)
