PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Status as a recipient of social assistance is not an absolute requirement to register through the Affirmative Path for Students at Risk of Continuing Education (RMP) in the New Student Admissions System (SPMB) for the 2025/2026 academic year in Bandung City.
Acting Head of the Bandung City Education Office, Dani Nurahman, said that the main requirement for the RMP affirmative pathway is to be registered in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) and listed on the Bandung City Family Card.
"The special requirement for RMP Affirmation is to be registered in the DTKS and Bandung City Family Card. If there are questions, for example registered in the DTKS but not a recipient of social assistance, then you can still register for the RMP pathway," said Dani in an official statement from the Bandung City Education Office.
DTKS is the master data managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs and is a reference for various assistance programs.
However, not all individuals registered in the DTKS automatically receive assistance, because each program has additional requirements according to their respective policies.
To facilitate the verification process, the Bandung City Education Office provides an online checking service via the simdik.bandung.go.id/dtks page.
The public simply needs to enter the Population Identification Number (NIK) of the prospective student or parent, then the system will display the DTKS status.
If the data is not found, a complaint can be submitted by filling in the identity and uploading supporting documents such as Family Card, KTP, and screenshots from the Next Generation Social Welfare Information System (SIKS-NG) application available in the Yes Jitu application.
Access to the application is also available in all schools in Bandung City, so that people do not need to come to the sub-district office.
"To check on the Yes Jitu application, there is no need to come to the sub-district office. You only need to come and communicate with your respective schools, because all schools already have access to the application," added Dani.
The Bandung City Education Office appealed to parents to ensure complete data and not hesitate to consult with the school so that the affirmative registration process runs smoothly and on target. (Bandung City Communication and Information Office/Fau)
