PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Admission of New Students (PPDB) Stage 1 for SMA, SMK, SLB West Java Province for 2024 has been announced. The announcement according to schedule will be made on Wednesday (19/6/2024), at 19.30 WIB.

Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin said that the PPDB Committee had worked hard to verify registration documents to ensure the truth and accuracy of the documents.

"We express our appreciation to the PPDB Committee because until the last second the Education Department was assisted by law enforcement officers to carry out detailed verification so that there was no fraud on domicile, family card, etc.," said Bey Machmudin.

"Verifying the suitability of addresses and population documents is our serious effort to organize a clean PPDB without fraud," he added.

Officers carry out verification in the field to check the domicile of prospective students. Even though the KK data is close to the school, the PPDB committee checked it, then brought it to a plenary meeting to confirm the results of the final field verification.

"We've checked. "This means that we will abort if it is unreasonable and the school will not hesitate to abort," stressed Bey.

According to Bey, prospective students who do not qualify can look for private schools. "I think there are many good private schools so use the private school route," he said.

Bey also appreciated the entire PPDB committee who were brave enough to take risks to comply with the rules. He also reminded the PPDB committee not to be afraid of intervention or threats from prospective students.

"There are a lot of interventions, but they (officers) adhere to their commitment by signing an integrity pact. "So they have to follow the rules so they don't get fired," said Bey.

"If later after the announcement there is a threat, please report it to us and we will provide assistance. "Hopefully this year the West Java PPDB will be the best," he said.
