PORTALJABAR, TASIKMALAYA REGENCY - Acting Regent of Tasikmalaya, Yedi Rahmat opened the implementation of the Focus Group Discussion in the context of the review practice of the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) of Tasikmalaya Regency (10/22/2024).

This activity supports the regional planning and infrastructure study course carried out by students of the Regional and City Planning (PWK) Study Program, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).

On this valuable occasion, Yedi welcomed the implementation of the RTRW review practice in Tasikmalaya Regency by ITB PWK students.

With this activity, students can directly see the real conditions in the area related to the preparation of the RTRW, this experience will be very valuable in opening a broader perspective and can see how the application of theories and scientific concepts that have been studied in class can be used in real-life work.

Meanwhile, the Tasikmalaya Regency Government will also be able to share knowledge, experience, and stories with the younger generation, especially those who are studying in related fields.

In addition, this activity will also produce a report that can provide input regarding spatial and regional planning in Tasikmalaya Regency.

The plan is that ITB PWK students will go to the field and related SKPDs for the next week to collect data, analyze data, and compile review results. (Tasikmalaya City Communication and Information Service/Fauziah)
