PORTALJABAR, SUBANG REGENCY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi watched via live streaming the inauguration of 1,151 kilometers of regional roads across Indonesia by President Prabowo Subianto on Tuesday (June 23, 2026). The symbolic event was held in Sampang, Madura.

The inauguration of the centrally funded road is part of the implementation of the Presidential Instruction on Regional Roads (IJD). The Presidential Instruction (Inpres) on Regional Roads is a central government policy to accelerate connectivity improvements and the stability of regional roads (provincial and district/city). This policy is furthered by Presidential Instruction No. 11 of 2025, which focuses on supporting food self-sufficiency, energy distribution, and other productive areas.

The Head of the West Java Province Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (DBMPR), Agung Wahyudi, stated that in the West Java region, there are 5 IJD activities with a total road length of 14.25 kilometers, which were recorded in the 2025 IJD recapitulation.

The five projects are: first, the 2-kilometer repair of the Parung Panjang-Bunar road in Bogor Regency, costing Rp14.79 billion. The project was completed by June 22, 2026.

"Second, repairs to the Palumbonsari-Johar-Tegalloa (Loji) Road segment 1 in Karawang Regency, spanning 3 kilometers. Currently, the road repairs are still underway and are targeted for completion on October 18, 2026," Agung said.

Third, on the same route, road repairs for segment 2, spanning 2.15 kilometers, were completed on May 21, 2026. Segment 1 received a budget allocation from the IJD program of IDR 34.7 billion and segment 2 of IDR 12.36 billion.

Fourth, the preservation of the 4.10-kilometer Sp.Surade-Ujunggenteng Road in Sukabumi Regency, valued at Rp24.53 billion. Fifth, the preservation of the 3-kilometer Cikadu-Simpang Pancuh Tilu Road in Cianjur Regency, with a budget of Rp15.95 billion.

Along with the governor, a number of regional heads in West Java were present to witness the inauguration via live streaming from Lembur Pakuan, Subang, West Java.
