PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Selected as a pilot project for the implementation of the free nutritious meal program, the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) is again the destination for a reference study or working visit this time by the ranks of Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives to see firsthand the implementation of the free nutritious meal program. The group from Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives was received directly by the Acting Regent of Bogor, Bachril Bakri in the Bogor Regent's Meeting Room, Friday (1/11/2024).

The free nutritious meal program in Bogor Regency has been carried out with a foster parent pattern from the Vice President (Wapres) of the Republic of Indonesia which has been implemented from May to October 2024 in four locations. Namely, SDN Sentul 2, SDN Sentul 3, SDN Hambalang 2 and 5 with a total of 1,880 participants consisting of 1,821 students and 59 teachers.

Not only that, this free meal program has also been carried out by the Bogor Regency Government in collaboration with the Bogor Police which was implemented on August 1-31, 2024 in three locations, namely SMPN 2 Babakan Madang, SDN 4 Nanggewer Cibinong and SDN 1 Cikeas Sukaraja with a total of 1,297 students.

Bachril Bakri stated that he welcomed the pilot program of free nutritious meals from the Central Government to be implemented in Bogor Regency. Of course, he is ready to support the implementation of the free nutritious meal program and will immediately form a cross-sector work team.

"We are expanding the trial of this free nutritious meal program through the CSR program that we implemented on November 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6, 2024 at SDN 01 Pakansari Cibinong with the number of participants being increased to 665 people. We will also continue in Cibungbulan District on November 18-22, 2024 for 829 students at SMPN 3 Cibungbulan," said Bachril Bakri. (Diskominfo Kab. Bogor/Fauziah)
