PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The 2026 'Empowered Women' Business Incubation Program strengthens the capacity of women in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to enable them to develop their businesses.

The program was held at the Bung Hatta Hall, Cooperatives and Small Business Service of West Java Province (27/8/2026).

Moch. Danny Fulton, Head of the Small Business Development Division of the West Java Provincial Cooperatives and Small Business Office, said that MSMEs need to continue adapting.

"Don't be afraid to innovate. Don't be afraid to try new things. And, just as importantly, never stop learning," said Danny.

The program is organized by the Indonesian Creative Pregnant House Foundation (YRIKI) together with the Indonesia Setara Foundation (YIS) to strengthen women's independence and competitiveness.

Participants receive support in various business aspects, from financial literacy, legality, digitalization, product development, to market access and financing.

Danny said that developing MSMEs requires support from various parties so that the needs of business actors can be met more broadly.

"The government cannot work alone. Therefore, collaborations like the one we're undertaking today must continue to be strengthened and developed to provide broader benefits to MSMEs in West Java," he said.

The program also encourages participants to build business networks to expand opportunities for sustainable business development.

Through the 'Empowered Women' initiative in 2026, women MSME owners are expected to become more independent in managing their businesses and be ready to expand their markets and access financing.
