PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daop 2 Bandung has opened train ticket sales for the 2024 Eid transport period starting on February 15 2024 or D-45 for departures March 31 2024 or D-10 Eid.

PT KAI Daop 2 Bandung Public Relations Manager Ayep Hanapi said that tickets can be purchased via the Access by KAI application, the kai.id website, as well as all other official train ticket booking channels.

"We remind customers to be careful in inputting dates, choosing routes, and entering personal data when making orders. "Plan your trip as best as possible, including the estimated travel time to get to the station so you don't miss the train," said Ayep, Thursday (15/2/2024)

According to Ayep, KAI continues to carry out the latest innovations to improve services to passengers, one of which is by implementing a queuing system when purchasing long-distance train tickets.

"This queuing system is implemented on the Access by KAI application and the kai.id website with the aim of providing prospective passengers with certainty of service, especially during peak seasons such as the Eid season or Christmas and New Year," he said.

Ayep explained, during peak season, where there is a density of ticket orders, prospective passengers will be directed to the queuing system which will provide the estimated waiting time.

"Prospective passengers are advised not to close the window in order to remain connected to the system. Then, when it is their turn, prospective passengers will be directed to enter the booking system and can purchase tickets as usual," he said.

The queue system for selling train tickets via the Access by KAI application and the KAI.id Web has been implemented since February 1 2024.

"KAI is committed to continuing to improve services to customers by utilizing the latest technology and maintaining the level of data and information security. KAI is ready to serve customers as best as possible during the Eid 2024 period through safe, secure and comfortable train travel," he said.
