PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Not only logistical preparations, the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) is also providing health facilities to support the success of the 2024 grand election.

One of them is by opening 80 community health centers for 24 hours from 14-15 February 2024. In fact, there are 8 community health centers whose schedule continues to operate 24 hours until February 16 2024.

"We want the health of election organizers to be maintained. Therefore, the Bandung City Government provides 24-hour health facility services. We also provide supplements for organizers so they can work more optimally," said Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono, Monday ( 12/2/2024).

He appealed to officers to be able to manage their physical condition and time. So that bitter events like the election 5 years ago do not happen again.

Bambang also hopes that this year the level of voter participation in Bandung City can increase.

“In the previous election we reached 87 percent. This time our participation must reach 90 percent. "The Bandung City Government together with Forkopimda really support the holding and realization of elections that are conducive, safe, peaceful and cool," he said.

Head of the Bandung City Health Service, Anhar Hadian, said that all community health centers will start operating 24 hours on February 14 2024 starting from 10.00 WIB until February 15 2024 at 22.00 WIB.

"However, on February 16, there were 8 community health centers that remained open to anticipate if there were still election activities. We are ready to provide assistance and assistance if anyone needs medical personnel," said Anhar.

He explained that as many as 57,084 election officials had their health checked by health center health workers.

"If there are officers who look tired, immediately inform the puskesmas. So that the puskesmas officers will immediately come for further examination. Our officers already have data by name and by address of the patient," he said.

He also said that vitamins had been distributed to all health centers. Puskesmas officers have also distributed the supplement to KPPS officers, Linmas, Babinsa, Babinkamtibmas, and regional officers who are intensively involved in the implementation of the election.

"If there is still a shortage of numbers, immediately contact the puskesmas so you can request an increase from the Health Office as soon as possible," he said.
