PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Miss Indonesia 2024 Harashta Haifa Zahra visited her homeland in Garut Regency. On the agenda of his visit, Harastha met with the Acting Regent of Garut, Barnas Adjidin, in the Pamengkang Room, Garut Regency, Sunday (26/5/2024).

In her interview with the Garut Regency Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) Team, Harastha expressed her joy and pride in being able to return to Garut with the title Miss Indonesia 2024. She also felt proud to be able to make Garut Regency proud on the national and international stage.

Currently, Harashta is undergoing various training, including catwalk and beauty classes, in preparation for taking part in the Miss Supranational 2024 event which will be held in Poland in July.

"Two days before I arrived in Garut, I wanted to carry out my duties as Miss Indonesia to give a world peace prologue speech in front of the magical Borobudur by carrying the red Borobudur crown for the second time for West Java," she said.

Even though he was born in Toblong Village, Peundeuy District, Harastha grew up in Bandung City. Her journey in the world of pageants (contests) started from the Mojang Jajaka Bandung City event until finally winning the title of Miss Indonesia 2024.

"It feels extraordinary to be Miss Indonesia 2024, it is a wonderful gift from god for me (a special gift from God for me), because again I didn't expect to be able to bring home the red Borobudur crown for West Java for the second time," he said.

Harashta also expressed his interest in performing arts such as dancing and singing since childhood, which has led him to perform in public to this day.

By winning the title of Miss Indonesia 2024, Harastha is now a role model for women in Indonesia and Garut Regency.

He advised Indonesian women to have the courage to take steps and try new things even though they may experience failure, because failure is part of the learning process to become better.

"My message to women in Garut and Indonesia, be brave. Failure is a lesson to become better. Start new things and have the courage to step towards new beginnings," he said.

Harashta hopes that Garut Regency can be known internationally and is committed to promoting typical Garut products internationally.

"Because I come from Garut, I will bring Garut MSME products such as clothing from Astiga Leather and Viera Sutra Batik to the international arena. Hopefully Garut MSMEs can succeed at the global level," he said.

Acting Regent of Garut Barnas Adjidin expressed his pride and happiness at Harastha's election as Miss Indonesia 2024. He also believes this will have a positive impact on Garut Regency.

Regarding Harashta's participation in international events, Barnas advised Harastha to be focused and professional, so that it is hoped that it can once again make Indonesia and Garut Regency proud.

"I hope he is focused and professional, and brings Indonesia's name to become a champion in the international arena," he said.
