PORTALJABAR, CIREBON CITY - The Padjadjaran Napaktilas Binokasih Crown Cultural Parade in Cirebon City showcases stunning and visually stunning art. Just look at the beautiful princesses and royal guards in their exquisite costumes from the Kasepuhan Palace performing the Bedaya dance.

Also in attendance were several muscular men, resembling professional bodybuilders, who performed the Jebor Jatiwangi Bodybuilding art form. This art form is an annual tradition in Jatiwangi District, the center of roof tile production in West Java. The muscular men are none other than workers in the traditional roof tile factories in the area.

In addition to posing, participants perform a stunt carrying stacks of roof tiles as if they were barbells. The stunt is typically held to celebrate Indonesia's Independence Day every August.

In the procession, the Binokasih Crown was also paraded from the starting point at Pedati Gede Park to the finishing point at the Kasepuhan Palace Square.

Thousands of people enthusiastically watched the cultural procession and arts and cultural attractions presented on the main stage of the Kasepuhan Palace Square.

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi expressed his gratitude to the people of Cirebon and the three palaces who were present to showcase their cultural arts.

From Cirebon, the cultural procession will continue to Bandung City.

"This Sunday night, May 16th, we will be taking part in activities in Bandung, then on Monday night there will be a colossal drama at Gedung Sate," explained KDM, Dedi Mulyadi's nickname.

He emphasized that the cultural parade activity was not to build stories of the past, but to build a bridge between the past and the future.

"Because many of us today talk about the future but don't understand the history of the past. Many people also only talk about the past and don't want to talk about the future. I take both: the past is history, the past is philosophy, the past is ideology, and the future is a challenge that must be realized. No great nation is unattached to its past," KDM emphasized.

The parade was also held to reaffirm West Java's extraordinary cultural richness.

"The existence of Padjadjaran is not just a story and a dream. It is proven by historical facts through the Batu Tulis Inscription and the Binokasih Crown, which still stand strong today," he said.

The cultural parade in Cirebon with the theme "The Crown of Love" was also quite special with the presence of cultural arts from Jakarta, Tegal City and Brebes Regency, areas bordering West Java.
