PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin gave kadeudeuh money to the Garut Women's Team who won the Runner Up of the Hydroplus Soccer League All Stars U-18 on (13/7/2026).

The appreciation was given in the courtyard of the Garut Regent's Office as a form of appreciation for the achievements of the women's soccer team at the national level.

The Garut Women's Team's achievement has become a source of pride for the community, as they have successfully advanced to the final round of the prestigious Hydroplus Soccer League All Stars U-18 competition.

Abdusy Syakur expressed his pride in the efforts of the young athletes who were able to bring the name of Garut Regency to the national stage.

"Of course, thank God, today I received the Garut Princess team contingent, who, thank God, were able to achieve a very proud achievement and also surprised the people of Garut by becoming finalists in the competition," he said.

This achievement is expected to motivate young Garut athletes to continue to develop and achieve higher achievements.

Considering that most of the players will return to strengthen Garut Regency at the Provincial Sports Week (Porprov), Syakur asked the athletes to maintain their training enthusiasm.

The Regent also instructed the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) of Garut Regency to support the development of young athletes on an ongoing basis.

In addition, Syakur encouraged the holding of more regional sports competitions so that more potential athletes can develop.

"I also hope that KONI will support this activity, and that my students won't give up. They'll keep practicing. There's more we have to do in the future. I also entrust KONI with increasing the number of events," Syakur continued.

The Garut Women's Team's achievements are proof of the potential of regional athletes who need to be continuously supported through quality coaching and competitions.
