PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Hundreds of people participated in mass fishing and free culinary at Setu Gedung Kesenian, Cibinong, Bogor Regency, on Sunday (13/4/2025). As much as one ton of fish was released in the setu for the joint fishing activity.

In addition to being a recreational event, mass fishing and free culinary delights strengthen ties between residents and the local government.

Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto said that this kind of activity is the first step in utilizing public space. Furthermore, the community is expected to jointly maintain the cleanliness and sustainability of public facilities.

"The point is not just about fishing, the most important thing is how regional facilities, such as Setu in front of the Arts Building, can be utilized properly and correctly by the people of Bogor Regency," said Rudy.

Setu Gedung Kesenian can be used by anyone who wants to use it, as long as it is used properly.

Rudy also appreciated the synergy between KNPI and Karang Taruna which had succeeded in holding a mass fishing and free culinary event.

"This is a very good collaboration. Two large youth organizations can unite to build Bogor in the future," he said.
