PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government supports the Grand Graduation of Khotmil Qur'an which was attended by 267 students from 18 tahfizh houses on 3/5/2026 to form a generation with strong character and integrity.
The Regional Secretary of Bekasi Regency, Endin Samsudin, said that the process of completing the Al-Quran creates perseverance and consistency which have an impact on the quality of the young generation.
"Completing the Quran is not just a matter of memorizing it, but also reflects self-resilience and commitment to undergoing the long learning process," said Endin.
The values of the Qur'an are a relevant guide to life in facing the challenges of the times, thus helping the younger generation stay on the right direction.
"The Quran serves as a guide and guide, ensuring that we remain steadfast in our values amidst various changes," said Endin.
The tahfizh house acts as a space for moral development as well as character strengthening so that it does not only focus on memorization but also on attitude formation.
"Development is not just about infrastructure; it must also be accompanied by strengthening the values and character of the community," said Endin.
The Head of the Bekasi Regency Tahfizh House Communication Forum, Ahmad Ridho, explained that this activity involved students from various regions with diverse backgrounds.
"The hope is that the students will be more enthusiastic about increasing their memorization, from one juz to two juz and so on," said Ahmad.
Guidance is carried out routinely using non-resident methods, thus facilitating access for the community to participate in Al-Quran education.
This activity has a direct impact on the community by increasing the development of the Quranic generation and strengthening religious values in the social environment.
The Bekasi Regency Government is encouraging ongoing support so that the development of Islamic boarding school students becomes more widespread and evenly distributed throughout the region.
