PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - A number of volunteers carried out clean-up actions in the Asia Africa Corner area, to commemorate the Asia-Africa Conference (KAA) and spread awareness about the 'Shine of Peace'.

Asia Africa Corner Team Hasna Shafa Kamila said that this activity was not only aimed at commemorating this historic event, but also to encourage people to always maintain cleanliness.

"This cleanliness action started in the morning, took place on the sidelines of the event, and continued until the end of the event," said Hasna, Sunday (7/7/2024).

According to him, all the people who attended the Asia Africa Festival, including the committee and visitors, participated in cleaning up the rubbish left over from the activities. This active participation from various groups shows a shared commitment to maintaining a clean environment.

According to Hasna, people can learn that cleanliness is the responsibility of all of us, both in small and large environments.

"Our message is that we hope people can adopt an attitude of protecting the environment after coming to the 2024 Asia Africa Festival," he said.

With this action, it is hoped that the people of Bandung City will care more about environmental cleanliness and make it a part of their daily life.
