PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - Bogor Mayor, Dedie A. Rachim, together with the Chairman of the Bogor City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), Adityawarman Adil, typed directly the first day of Biskita Trans Pakuan's operations after previously stopping for three months, Tuesday (8/4/2025).
Operational checks of Biskita Trans Pakuan bus started from the Cidangiang bus stop to the Budi Mulia bus stop, Jalan Kapten Muslihat, Bogor City.
Dedie Rachim revealed that Biskita is subsidized by the Bogor City Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) through the Buy The Service (BTS) scheme.
In addition, he emphasized that the paving of Biskita is a commitment of the Bogor City Government as a form of public service in the form of mass transportation.
This is in line with Dedie-Jenal's Mission, Lancar Bogor, which is to make Bogor City a comfortable, modern city, and ready to face future challenges with an integrated transportation and infrastructure system and optimization of public facilities.
"Yes, this is a commitment. The Bogor City Government is implementing the big concept of people's money returning to the people. The money we get from taxes, levies, and so on, we return in the form of services to the community in the form of mass transportation whose fares we subsidize," said Dedie Rachim at the Budi Mulia Bus Stop after the inspection.
Dedie Rachim added, with the return of Biskita operations, people's activities and mobility can become easier, cheaper, and have certainty of travel time.
The existence of this mass transportation mode, continued Dedie Rachim, is a form of joint commitment so that the transportation system in the future can change.
"We are starting again a good, punctual, and cheap mass transportation mode. Certainly, more efficient and useful," he said.
The operationalization of Biskita Trans Pakuan was also welcomed positively by the public who had been waiting and longing for this mass transportation mode.
A resident of East Bogor District, Bogor City, Andini, expressed her gratitude for the commitment of the Mayor of Bogor, Dedie Rachim, and his Deputy, Jenal Mutaqin, who have made Biskita operational again.
"Yes, that's good. It means commitment to the program that has been implemented, because this has indeed become a necessity and a mainstay of the community. Because if you take public transportation, it tends to wait for a long time," he said while waiting for Biskita at the Library Bus Stop.
When asked about the Rp. 4,000 rate, he said that it was very cheap with quite good service.
However, he hopes that in the future Biskita and the existing bus stops can reach other strategic locations such as traditional markets, public service places, and so on.
"Because when there was no Biskita, from Wangun to here (Jalan Kapten Muslihat) taking public transportation was tiring because it often stopped, wasting time. Well, if Biskita could enter in front of traditional markets or offices, that would be even better I think. So it really helps, more effective and efficient," he said.
For information, the operational check was also accompanied by a representative from the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Bogor City Communication and Information Service/Fauziah)
