PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - Bogor Mayor, Dedie A. Rachim, inaugurated the Joint Secretariat of Fair and Prosperous Justice (BAS) and attended the first anniversary commemoration of the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) and the Creative Economy Institute (Lekraf) BAS on Jalan KS Tubun, North Bogor District, Saturday (30/5/2026).

On that occasion, Dedie Rachim emphasized that the existence of the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) in Bogor City is in line with the implementation of Bogor City Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Implementation of Bale Badami as a forum for dispute resolution through deliberation and a restorative justice approach.

"With Bale Badami, which is also supported by LBH, various problems don't always have to end up in court. There are alternative resolutions through deliberation to reach a better solution for all parties," said Dedie Rachim.

He explained that Bale Badami has handled approximately 14 cases to date, eight of which were successfully resolved through restorative justice mechanisms. Of these, three cases were handled by BAS.

"Through Bale Badami, people facing legal issues can consult with LBH BAS to find solutions that prioritize peace and mutual benefit," he said.

One of the cases that was successfully resolved through Bale Badami was a problem involving Satpol PP members that had attracted public attention some time ago.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of LBH BAS, Tini Sumartini, explained that BAS is an independent institution and has two main units, namely the Joint Legal Aid Institute (LBH) Adil Sejahtera and the Joint Creative Economy Institute (Lekraf) Adil Sejahtera.

According to him, BAS is also supported by the Martini & Partners and Associates Law Firm which strengthens institutional services and development.

On this occasion, BAS also launched a podcast program as a creative space for the younger generation, especially Generation Z, to discuss, share ideas, and create works.

"We present this podcast program as a platform for the younger generation to channel their creativity, engage in discussions, and build positive networks," said Tini Sumartini.

Through collaboration between the local government, LBH, and various community elements, it is hoped that deliberation-based dispute resolution efforts and the strengthening of community creativity can continue to develop and provide broader benefits to Bogor City residents.
