PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The excitement of the Decorated Vehicle Parade in the framework of the 214th Anniversary of the City of Bandung (HJKB) was already felt, even since the dawn call to prayer, Sunday (15/9/2024).

Bandung City Public Relations monitoring, at around 05.00 WIB, the decorated cars were already parked and ready to be registered. The latest data received, more than 80 decorated vehicles will appear to fill the parade.

The excitement continued until around 07.00 WIB. Along Jalan Merdeka and the Bandung City Hall area were already crowded with thousands of people.

"We have been making preparations for the past few days. We have mobilized all sub-district employees and residents of Bandung Kidul to go down to Jalan Merdeka, to enliven HJKB 214," said Secretary of Bandung Kidul Sub-district, Mochammad Edi Purwadi.

Bandung Kidul District is just one of thousands of elements in today's festivities. Dozens of mothers from Arjuna Village appear 'hebring' preparing cheers for the appearance of decorated vehicles from their area.

"We have been on standby since dawn. Just look, we, the residents of Arjuna Village in Cicendo District, are so enthusiastic and optimistic about becoming the first winner," he exclaimed.

Then there were representatives from Andir District who were also busy preparing cheers and unfurling banners as a form of support.

"I'm sure I'll be the first winner," said Winni, accompanied by enthusiastic cheers from the rest of the group.

As a reminder, the Decorated Vehicle Parade in the framework of HJKB 214 will cross the following route: Start at Gedung Sate (Jalan Diponegoro) -> Dago -> Simpang Riau Merdeka -> BIP -> Jalan Merdeka -> City Hall (Jalan Wastukancana).

Simply put, the route starts from Gedung Sate and ends at City Hall with 3 main checkpoints at Gedung Sate, BIP, and the assessment stage at City Hall.
