PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting (Pj) Mayor of Bandung Bambang Tirtoyuliono hopes that the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) can obtain competent employees through the new employee recruitment process. This is so that the Bandung City Government can serve the community better.

This was stated by Bambang on the sidelines of reviewing the 2023 Bandung City State Civil Apparatus Candidate (CASN) competency exam, at Karang Setra Hotel & Cottages, Monday (20/11/2023).

"Make all of this motivation to live a better life. Give maximum results for the city of Bandung," he said.

Please note, the formation required for this admission is 1,082 people. Consisting of 613 teachers, 382 health workers. and 87 technical personnel.

Bambang hopes that the participants can take advantage of this momentum to become Bandung City ASN.

"Of course you can take it seriously and use it to graduate. I pray that those who take part in this selection will hopefully pass with good results," he said.

He revealed that currently Government Employees with a Work Agreement (PPPK) are almost on par with Civil Servants (PNS).

"ASN includes PPPK and PNS, they get salaries and allowances, so they are the same. But the point is that we are obliged to be officials who are able to advance the name of the city of Bandung by providing maximum service to the community," he said

Currently, there are 1,006 participants participating in CASN in the Bandung City Government for teachers, 1,174 participants for health and 1,078 technical personnel. The selection will be held on 19-22 November 2023, with 300 participants in each session.

Announcement of graduation will be held on 4-13 December 2023. Continued filing and proposing and determining NIPPPK until February 2024. (Diskominfo Bandung City/UPI)
