PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The spirit of collaboration between the business world and community organizations was evident in the ABC Roadshow event held at the Binangkit Building, Jalan Sukabumi Dalam No. 30, Bandung City, Sunday (27/4/2025).
This event is the result of collaboration between PT ABC Indonesia through the ABC Academy (Experts in Making Taste) program with the Bandung City Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK) Pokja III, which presents hundreds of PKK cadres from the sub-district to village levels in Bandung City.
The event was opened by the Chairperson of the Bandung City PKK TP, Aryatri Muhammad Farhan, who expressed appreciation for the presence of PT ABC in supporting women's empowerment, especially in the field of family culinary.
"This program not only inspires mothers to be more confident in cooking, but also opens up great opportunities to develop home culinary businesses," said Aryatri.
He also highlighted the importance of creativity and togetherness demonstrated through various exciting competitions, such as chili sauce pounding competitions, chili sauce creations, spirited cheers, and fashion shows using recycled materials.
According to him, this activity is not just a competition, but an expression of the spirit and innovation of PKK cadres.
Not to forget, Aryatri left a message to all PKK cadres in Bandung City to continue to be agents of change in their respective environments.
He hopes that the skills gained from this activity can spur family economic growth and strengthen the community towards a more advanced Bandung.
Acting Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Iskandar Zulkarnain, who was also present, also expressed his appreciation for the holding of this event.
According to him, the ABC Roadshow is an interesting and beneficial activity.
"This is not just a cooking competition, but an event to raise public awareness of the importance of healthy and nutritious food from the home kitchen," said Iskandar.
According to him, the role of Working Group III in the TP PKK structure, which focuses on the fields of food, clothing, and household management, is very strategic in fostering families to be healthy, prosperous, and empowered.
Amidst the complex challenges in the food sector, such as issues of nutrition and food security, Iskandar assessed that this event was able to answer them with a fun and educational approach.
Furthermore, he called the collaboration between TP PKK and the private sector such as PT ABC as a step forward that strengthens multi-party synergy and opens up wider space for community creativity.
On the same occasion, Head of Taste Elevation PT ABC Indonesia, Intan Ekowati, expressed her enthusiasm for the enthusiasm shown by the PKK mothers of Bandung City.
"We are very excited to see the active participation of mothers in this event. This shows that our commitment as a partner for mothers cooking at home is getting stronger," said Intan.
She said, this year PT ABC Indonesia is exactly 50 years old. Through ABC Academy, Intan hopes this program can provide real benefits that can be directly applied in the household kitchen.
This ABC Roadshow event showcases the spirit of mutual cooperation, innovation, and creativity of the people of Bandung City.
Participants not only compete to show their cooking and creative skills, but also exchange ideas, build networks, and improve their own capacity.
At the end of the event, all parties hope that this activity will not only produce competition winners, but also household culinary ambassadors who can inspire other families in Bandung and its surroundings.
With the spirit of "moving empowered for a more advanced Bandung City", the ABC Roadshow event is an important milestone in strengthening the quality of family life through women's empowerment and innovation in the food sector.
