PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Leuwiliang Hospital continues to improve services both from internal hospital management and external hospital stakeholders. Efforts to improve services are proven by the existence of innovations related to improving services. This was said by the Director of Leuwiliang Hospital, Vitrie Winastri, Monday (22/7/2024).
According to Vitrie, Leuwiliang Regional Hospital continues to encourage hospital employees to continue developing their abilities in terms of improving hospital services. In 2023, Leuwiliang Hospital will succeed in launching three innovations at once to improve hospital services.
"The three innovations are in the context of strengthening different fields, so that Leuwiliang Regional Hospital becomes stronger in every field," he said.
Vitrie continued, the first innovation was Optimizing Drug Procurement to Minimize Expired Drugs. In order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of drug procurement at Leuwiliang Regional Hospital by using a minimum and maximum stock monitoring system. This system can improve quality and patient safety, making drug procurement more effective and efficient.
"Because the number of medicines provided is not excessive according to the calculation of needs and every three month period the medicines will always be replaced with new stock and a new expiration date," he said.
Vitrie added that the second innovation, namely the BO Suite, is based on the complexity of the goods and services procurement process, the slow process of procuring goods and services plus it is not integrated with financial governance, so that the implementation of goods and services procurement is not effective and efficient. So the Back Office Suite Innovation (BO Suite) was created, namely an innovation regarding the integration of budget planning, procurement of goods and services and financial administration.
“This innovation focuses on one data for the needs of several integrated parts. The aim of the BO Suite innovation is to speed up the process of procuring goods and services. "This innovation speeds up budget realization, avoids duplication or loss of data, makes monitoring and evaluation easier, work progress, budget realization and TKDN evaluation, and increases accountability," he said.
Next, Vitrie revealed the third innovation, namely Saung Kiray or the Goods Audit System for Improving Service Performance at Leuwiliang Regional Hospital. This innovation was motivated by an inventory of hospital assets that was not optimal, less effective and less efficient.
Leuwiliang Hospital's assets are assets that are registered as assets belonging to the Bogor Regency area, where planning and disposal must be managed properly. A large number of BMD with a wide distribution requires complex handling and takes a lot of time.
"With the Saung Kiray innovation which was created using Android technology, the goods inventory process has become faster, easier and more efficient. Data is stored well and asset security can be improved. "With the SCAN QR Code menu in the room, the audit of goods in the room can be checked quite practically by simply scanning the QR and the asset data in the room will appear for matching in the audit process," he said.
He said, in Saung Kiray there is also a digitalization menu for KEPMEN 050 of 2021 to make it easier to find account codes for purchasing goods. Saung Kiray is also equipped with a goods condition reporting menu and automatic creation of event reports. In general, with the existence of Saung Kiray, asset management at Leuwiliang Regional Hospital becomes easier, effective and efficient, safe and recorded.
"With these three innovations in 2023, we are confident that services at Leuwiliang Regional Hospital will continue to improve, both in terms of management and services to outside parties. "It is hoped that several existing innovations will continue to be developed, for the sake of perfection and hopefully become an inspiration for the emergence of other innovations in the following year," he said.
