
PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Rudy Susmanto and Ade Ruhandi were officially inaugurated as Bogor Regent and Deputy Regent for the 2025-2030 period by President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (20/2/2025).
In this historic procession, President Prabowo also inaugurated hundreds of regional heads from all over Indonesia. A total of 961 officials consisting of 33 governors, 33 deputy governors, 363 regents, 362 deputy regents, and 85 mayors and 85 deputy mayors were inaugurated simultaneously at the State Palace.
President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto expressed his gratitude for all the gifts given by God Almighty and reminded the importance of the commitment of regional heads to serve the people.
"Brothers and sisters, you were chosen to be servants of the people, to defend the interests of the people. You must fight for the improvement of their lives," the President stressed.
Furthermore, President Prabowo emphasized that even though regional heads come from different parties, religions, and tribes, all are part of the big Indonesian family, with the motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika as the basis for unity.
This simultaneous inauguration is a symbol of the strength of Indonesian democracy that is running dynamically and reflects the greatness of the Indonesian nation which is the fourth most populous country in the world. President Prabowo also conveyed a message for regional heads to maintain the spirit of togetherness and continue to do their best for the people.
"Although we may come from different parties, from different religions, from different tribes, we have been born into the big family of the archipelago, the big family of the Republic of Indonesia," the President concluded.
This inauguration ceremony is an important moment in Indonesia's ever-growing democratic journey, and confirms the commitment of regional heads to work hard for the welfare of the community.
After the inauguration, the President also invited all regional heads to attend a retreat to be held in Magelang to strengthen their physical and mental strength in carrying out the heavy duties mandated by the people.
