PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto emphasized that Car Free Day (CFD) in Bogor Regency is no longer centered in the Cibinong or Tegar Beriman areas. CFD is now being held in various sub-districts as an effort to ensure equitable distribution of healthy public spaces for the community.

This affirmation was conveyed by Rudy Susmanto while attending the Car Free Day activity in Cileungsi District which was combined with the Cileungsi Bubble Run event in the Metland Cileungsi area, Sunday, February 1, 2026.

The Regent of Bogor was present accompanied by the Regional Secretary, the Sub-district Head and the Cileungsi Sub-district Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimcam), the Chair of the Indonesian Community Sports Committee (KORMI) of Bogor Regency, and officials from the Bogor Regency Government.

According to Rudy, the implementation of CFD in Cileungsi is proof that public spaces for exercise and socializing are now starting to be provided evenly across various areas of Bogor Regency.

"Today, we're holding Car Free Day at Metland Cileungsi, including a fun run. This demonstrates that Car Free Day isn't just held in Cibinong or Tegar Beriman, but also in several sub-districts across Bogor Regency," said Rudy Susmanto.

He welcomed the activity because it not only encouraged physical activity, but also strengthened community togetherness and joy.

Rudy explained that the CFD event in Cileungsi was a collaboration between the Cileungsi Regional Sports Council (KORMI) and the Bogor Regency Regional Sports Council (KORMI). In addition to providing a sports facility, the event is expected to foster a healthy lifestyle and positive use of public spaces.

"Going forward, the implementation of Car Free Day will continue to be expanded to cover the entire Bogor Regency area, even to 40 sub-districts," he concluded.
