PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto received the Honorary Brevet Yudha Wastu Wiratama and Honorary Yudha Turangga Wiratama as honorary members of the Cavalry from the Commander of the Cavalry Weaponry Center (Danpussenkav) of the Indonesian Army Major General Eko Susetyo. The awarding of the Honorary Brevet means that the Bogor Regent and the Forkopimda ranks are officially recognized as honorary members of the Indonesian Army Cavalry.
The Yudha Wastu Wiratama Honorary Brevet is given to individuals who are considered to have supported and played a role in the progress of the Cavalry, especially those related to the use of combat vehicles (tanks or armored vehicles). This signifies that the recipient of the brevet is considered part of the extended cavalry family who are loyal and responsible in using the main combat equipment.
Meanwhile, the Honorary Brevet Yudha Turangga Wiratama is given to individuals who have supported and played a role in the advancement of the Cavalry, especially in relation to the use of horses in combat. This signifies that the recipient of the brevet is considered part of the extended Cavalry family who has the skills and knowledge in using horses as a means of combat.
The presentation of the Honorary Brevet was carried out at the Cavalry Education Center (Pusdikkav) Pussenkav, Bandung, Friday (25/4/2025).
Present were the Commander of Pussenkav, Commander of Pusdikkav Pussenkav, PJU Pusdikkav Pussenkav. Also present were the Regent of Bogor, the Chairman of the Bogor Regency DPRD, the Bogor Police Chief, the Dandim 0621 Bogor Regency, and the Regional Secretary (Sekda).
Rudy expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and honor given to him as an honorary member of the cavalry.
"Thank you for the tradition of the Corps of awarding the Yudha Wastu Wiratama and Yudha Turangga Wiratama Honorary Brevets to me as the Regent of Bogor, greetings from Bogor Istimewa Kuta Udaya Wangsa," continued Regent Rudy.
On that occasion, the Regent of Bogor was invited to try out horse and tank combat vehicles. The Regent of Bogor rode a combat horse carrying a long-barreled weapon, then tried controlling a tank.
