PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BANDUNG - The West Java Province Mental Hospital (RSJ), which has received the title of Corruption Free Area (WBK), has now received the 2023 Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) Predicate Award from the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB).

This hospital is the only UPTD/special organizational unit (UOBK) representing West Java Province and the only mental hospital in Indonesia to receive this award.

The award was handed over by the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Abdulah Azwar Anas in an event entitled "Appreciation and Award of Integrity Zones Towards WBK/WBBM 2023" at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Badung Regency, Bali, Wednesday (6/12/2023) .

The awarding of this award was carried out based on the results of the evaluation of the development of the Integrity Zone in 2023, which refers to the mandate of Ministerial Regulation PANRB Number 90 of 2021 concerning the Development and Evaluation of Integrity Zones Towards Corruption Free Areas (WBK) and Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Areas (WBBM) in Institutions Government.

West Java Province RSJ Director Elly Marliyani revealed that the award and ranking title would not be easy to obtain if it were not for the sincerity, unity of spirit of all levels and intention to worship.

"This predicate is an accumulation of performance from all levels of the Civitas Hospitalia West Java Provincial Mental Hospital and cross-sector collaboration with related regional apparatus, as well as proof that we are implementing Pentahelix and support from all parties that I cannot mention one by one," said Elly .

The West Java Province RSJ has won various awards, ranging from fulfilling hospital standards to improving hospital service infrastructure. RSJ West Java has also achieved Hospital Accreditation three times in the Plenary Assessment category. Previously, this hospital also received the WBK Predicate Award from the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform, Tjahjo Kumolo.

Before leaving for Bali, on November 30 2023, West Java Province RSJ Director Elly Marliyani received the Public Information Openness Award in the Public Service Agency Category and was the only UPTD/UOBK to receive the Informative Public Service Agency Predicate which was able to compete among all regional apparatus and UPTD Level West Java Province. The annual assessment and ranking celebration is organized by the West Java Provincial Information Commission.

Head of the West Java Regional Secretariat Organization Bureau, Teten Ali Mulku Engkun, expressed his pride because the task of monitoring and assisting the implementation of the WBBM Integrity Zone in the West Java Provincial Level was able to advance to the national level.

"I will use this as a role model for the performance and achievements of regional apparatus organizations in West Java to carry out mock study visits to the West Java Provincial Mental Hospital so that in the future more OPDs will implement the WBK and WBBM Integrity Zones," said Teten.

Head of the West Java Provincial Inspectorate, Eni Rohyani, said that this was part of ASN's commitment and integrity in realizing Clean Government and Good Governance in West Java.

Meanwhile, the Head of the West Java Health Service, Vini Adiana Dewi, also appreciated the performance of the West Java Provincial RSJ Director and staff for their achievements in being able to move smoothly to the national level.

"Hopefully this will be a motivation for achievement for all UPTD and UOBK within the West Java Provincial Health Service," said Vini.
