PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - The Ciamis Regency Government reviewed the implementation of the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) or MASEKDAS in a number of kindergartens and elementary schools in Cijeungjing District to ensure that the activities were child-friendly (16/7/2026).
The review was carried out by the Ciamis Regency Education Office together with the Head of Early Childhood Education for Ciamis Regency, Kania Ernawati Herdiat, who was accompanied by Working Group II and Working Group IV.
This activity aims to ensure that new students have a safe and enjoyable learning experience and support the adaptation process in the school environment.
Kania Ernawati Herdiat greeted the students directly and provided motivation so that they would be confident in entering the new learning environment.
According to Kania, the first day of school is an important moment that forms a child's initial impression of the world of education.
"Children should feel happy coming to school. Make school a safe, comfortable, fun, and loving place so they can learn, socialize, and develop their potential optimally," he said.
Kania also encouraged all educators to prioritize a humanistic approach so that the student adaptation process takes place without pressure or practices that conflict with the principles of child-friendly schools.
The Ciamis Regency Government also distributed nutritious snacks to students as a form of support for fulfilling nutritional needs during learning.
This step is expected to help children's growth and development while increasing their enthusiasm for participating in learning activities at school.
The Ciamis Regency Government hopes that MASEKDAS will be a momentum to foster children's self-confidence, joy, and enthusiasm for learning as a provision for realizing a smart, healthy, character-based generation, and ready to welcome the Golden Indonesia 2045.
