PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Garut Regency Government supports the development of the younger generation through scouting activities that instill discipline, togetherness, and mutual cooperation.

Tarogong Kaler Sub-district Head Rakhmat Alamsyah attended the inauguration of the 65th Scout Anniversary officers at Tarogong Square 13/8/2026.

The Tarogong Kaler Branch Office (Kwarran) has appointed officers to ensure that the series of commemorations runs orderly and smoothly.

The inauguration ensures that each officer understands their duties and responsibilities in implementing the Scout Anniversary activities at the sub-district level.

Rakhmat Alamsyah appreciated the officers who participated in the preparations for the series of events commemorating the 65th Scout Anniversary.

"This inauguration is an important part of ensuring that all officers are ready to carry out their duties and responsibilities. We hope that all activities for the 65th Scout Anniversary will run smoothly and orderly, and serve as a momentum to continue fostering a spirit of discipline, togetherness, and mutual cooperation," he said.

Scouting activities in Tarogong Kaler are aimed at becoming a forum for character formation for the younger generation through organizational experiences and joint activities.

This training also encourages participants to care about the environment and the communities around them.

The support of the sub-district government is expected to keep scouting activities active as a space for developing character and leadership for the younger generation.
