PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) demonstrated its commitment not only to maintaining order but also through humanitarian action. In collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and the Asri Indonesia Movement, the Bandung City Satpol PP spearheaded a mass blood drive on Thursday (July 9, 2026).

This social action was held at the Bandung City Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) office and was enthusiastically attended by Satpol PP personnel and employees from various surrounding regional agencies. This activity demonstrates the transformation of Satpol PP, making it more humane and closer to the community.

Atep, a representative of the Bandung City Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), explained that this collaborative blood drive is part of a series of activities leading up to the national-level culmination of the Asri Indonesia Movement. This activity focuses not only on health but also on strengthening social awareness and community service.

"Today, the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) is holding a blood drive. This is part of a series of national-level Indonesia Asri activities, which promote the Safe, Healthy, Clean, and Beautiful movement. The culminating event will be held in Malang City," he said.

To maximize the impact of this social action, the Bandung City Satpol PP also invited regional officials around the operational office to participate as blood donors.

Participants came from the Department of Manpower (Disnaker), the Department of Water Resources and Highways (DSABM), the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT), KRS, and the Department of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3).

One of the participants, D'Aryani, admitted that she was enthusiastic about donating blood for the first time.

"This is my first time donating blood because I previously had low hemoglobin, preventing me from donating. Thank God, I passed. I hope what I donated today will be beneficial to those in need. I hope I can donate blood regularly in the future," said D'Aryani, who is also a member of the Bandung City Public Order Agency (Satpol PP).

For this reason, D'Aryani invites the people of Bandung City, especially those who are still hesitant, not to be afraid to donate blood.

Donating blood through PMI is not only beneficial for health, but also a form of concern to help others in need.

Through this collaborative blood donation activity, the Bandung City Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) hopes that the collected blood can be distributed by the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) to help meet the community's medical needs.
