PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) controlled an illegal building kiosk on Jalan Supratman, Bandung City, Tuesday (7/5/2024).

Head of the Bandung City Satpol PP Trantibum Division, Yayan Ruyandi, explained that the building was demolished due to violations of Regional Regulation number 9 of 2019 concerning general permits and community permits and Regional Regulation number 4 of 2011 concerning the regulation and guidance of street vendors.

Before confirming this, Yayan had issued warning letters one to three. So that the enforcement carried out is in accordance with the regulations.

"Before the control was carried out today, we had already issued a first warning letter on January 26, but apparently there was no change. "We gave another second warning letter, on March 6, then a third warning letter on March 8," he said.

According to him, in Article 7 of the Bandung City Regional Regulation Number 4/2011 concerning the arrangement and guidance of street vendors, it is explained that the locations of street vendors are divided into three zones, namely, the red zone, the yellow zone and the green zone.

"This area is included in the yellow zone, but in all zones, whether green, yellow or red, we regulate that permanent buildings are not permitted," he said.

"So, in the yellow zone area, you are welcome to sell, but you must not damage or disrupt the function of the green lanes and sidewalks, and still comply with the rules. "In the yellow zone, you can sell from 10.00-18.00 WIB and don't leave any traces of merchandise at the selling location," he said.
