PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Integration and one database is one of the keys to poverty alleviation. With the same data, program interventions in poverty alleviation can be implemented optimally.
"The main problem with poverty is data. Different data is the precursor to poverty interventions not working optimally. So we have to ensure that the data is unified," said Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono while chairing the Coordination Meeting of the Bandung City Poverty Reduction Coordination Team (TKPK). at the Cibiru Sunda Terrace (12/6/2024).
He said that poverty data is very important if it can display data in actual or real time. Moreover, the city of Bandung has a target of reducing the extreme poverty rate to 0 percent according to the central government's target.
Currently, poverty data still uses three different databases, namely Targeting Data for the Acceleration of Elimination of Extreme Poverty (P3KE), Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) and Socio-Economic Registration (Regsosek).
According to Bambang, this data will be included in the Mayor's Decree regarding poverty data as a basis for implementing various poverty intervention programs.
"The problem of poverty is data. There must be 1 data that is used and it must be stated in the Kepwal. Carry out data verification and validation which will have a big influence on program interventions. Later, Kominfo as the data guardian will mix and match the data," he said.
"With single data, it will be our effort to ensure that we move up a class in poverty alleviation," he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Bandung City Social Service, Soni Bakhtiyar, said that in overcoming extreme poverty, the Bandung City Government implemented three strategies, namely reducing the burden of public expenditure, increasing people's income and reducing the number of poverty pockets.
Regarding poverty data, he said that the Social Service had launched an innovative One Stop Social Welfare Service system or Yes! That's right. An integrated social service platform based on a single data.
"We are making a commitment, all OPDs that have programs to improve community welfare must commit to using single data. Intervention programs must be based on assessment results," he explained. (Diskominfo Bandung City/Fauziah)
