PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Braga Permai Restaurant celebrates its 100th anniversary. A century of travel, this restaurant, which is one of the cultural heritage buildings of the city of Bandung, carries the theme 'The Story of Point Teduh'. Bandung City Public Relations had the opportunity to join in the 100th anniversary celebration of Braga Permai, Wednesday (1/11/2023).

General Manager of Braga Permai Nova Putra Wiguna said that since its inception, Braga Permai has continued to be a space to share stories, a meeting point that presents and provides culinary innovation. Apart from that, this place is said to provide a shady atmosphere with red umbrellas which are the icon of Jalan Braga.

After changing generations, innovation continues to be carried out so that customer favorite menus are added and facilities are also rejuvenated and developed for the convenience of visitors.

With a vision that has always been the same since its inception, in the future Braga Permai will not only want to be a classy restaurant. However, it can be a place to explore and learn history through culinary delights.

"By always bringing warmth to every story and journey of this 100 years, Braga Permai wants to always provide the best service so that culinary connoisseurs are more comfortable and make Braga Permai a second home for gathering moments," he said.

Nova explained, in celebration of this century's birthday, Braga Permai is serving back its signature menu from the 1950s, such as tenderloin bogerijen, tompous dessert, and oriental menus that have not been served for a long time.

"Then, there are also tongue steaks, oxtail soup, bitter ballen and poffertjes with a new, more modern touch without changing recipes that have lasted for 100 years," he said.

Apart from a series of activities and shows leading up to the 100th anniversary celebration, this year Braga Permai also expanded the area by providing a backyard so that guests can choose 3 areas as options for gathering and dining with a capacity of up to 300 people.

According to Nova, as the oldest restaurant that is still recognized by the public, Braga Permai has succeeded in receiving recognition from the Indonesian Record Museum. This is proof that Braga Permai is committed to always providing the best service to consumers.

It doesn't stop there, Braga Permai also won best service from Trip Advisor and was recently declared a cultural heritage building by the Bandung City Department of Culture and Tourism.

"We are very grateful for the various awards and appreciation from various parties, which are real proof of the hard work and dedication of our team. The results of this achievement are also a reflection of our commitment to providing the best service innovations to all visitors, so that Braga Permai friends always have different impressions and experiences when visiting," he said.

The 100th anniversary evening is packaged in the concept of the Point Teduh Story which will describe the journey of Braga Permai from its inception to the present. Tonight Braga Permai released their newest logo.

Apart from that, the celebration of 100 years of Braga Permai was enlivened by many well-known performers in Bandung who were present to enliven the event, such as the Suara Parahyangan Group (KSP), Gege Gumilar Orchestra, and the Absolute band who will perform top hits from the 70s and 90s.
