PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Governor, Dedi Mulyadi has determined five governor's offices in various regions in West Java. This decision is based on five cultural characters in the province, namely Priangan Garut, Priangan Bandung Raya, Cirebon, Purwakarta, and Bogor Region (Sunda Betawi).

"West Java has five cultural characters, namely Priangan Garut, Priangan Greater Bandung, Cirebon, Purwakarta, and the Bogor Region (Sunda Betawi)," said Dedi Mulyadi.

These five regions were previously known as residency areas or administrative areas under the governor. To strengthen public services and access, the former residency offices are now reactivated as governor's regional offices.

"Well, I have now activated the former residency office as the governor's regional office. The aim is for areas in the region to have closer access to communicate with the governor. The regional office also has public service staff," he explained.

The names for the governor's offices in the five regions are Bale Pakuan Padjadjaran in the Bogor Region, Bale Sri Baduga in the Purwakarta Region, Bale Jaya Dewata in the Cirebon Region, Bale Dewa Niskala in the Priangan Garut Region, and Bale Pakuan in the Greater Bandung Region.

Each of these regional offices serves at least three to five adjacent districts/cities, to ensure that government services are more evenly distributed and easily accessible to the public.
