PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government through Regional Secretary Endin Samsudin attended the Indonesian Cadet Corps (KKRI) Development Camp held by Korem 051/Wijayakarta at the Karang Kitri Campground, Bojongmangu District, as an effort to develop character, discipline, and national insight for high school, vocational school, and Islamic high school students throughout the Korem 051/Wijayakarta area (20/6/2026).

Bekasi Regency Regional Secretary Endin Samsudin expressed his appreciation for the implementation of the activity, which was considered strategic in shaping the character of the young generation with integrity and national insight.

"Activities like this have strategic value in shaping the character of the younger generation. Participants not only gain knowledge and experience, but also learn about discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and leadership, which will be valuable assets for the future," he said.

Endin emphasized that regional development does not only depend on infrastructure and the economy, but also on the quality of human resources with strong character and social awareness.

He explained that students today face major challenges amidst technological developments and the flow of information that demand character strengthening and adaptability without losing the nation's identity.

"Today's young generation are the future leaders. Therefore, they need to be equipped not only with academic skills but also with strong character, integrity, a spirit of mutual cooperation, and a sense of responsibility toward the nation and state," he said.

The camping activity also serves as a means of strengthening brotherhood between students from various schools and fostering a spirit of unity in diversity.

Endin hopes that participants can follow the entire series of activities well and become a young generation ready to contribute to regional development and welcome Golden Indonesia 2045.
