PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - Bekasi Regency Regional Secretary Endin Samsudin invited state civil servants (ASN) within the Bekasi Regency Government (Pemkab) to increase their faith while maintaining the quality of public services during Ramadan 1447 Hijriah in the Tarhib Ramadan activity at the Nurul Hikmah Grand Mosque (13/2/2026).

The event was attended by regional government officials, heads of regional apparatus, ASN, religious figures, and the congregation of the Nurul Hikmah Grand Mosque.

The event began with the reading of verses from the holy Qur'an, followed by a sermon, and a joint prayer for the safety and blessings of Bekasi Regency.

Endin said that Ramadan is a momentum to improve one's quality, both spiritually and professionally, so that service to the community can be maximized.

"We hope we can observe fasting and other acts of worship. Hopefully, this month of fasting will further strengthen our faith and devotion to Allah SWT, so that Bekasi Regency will be protected from danger and disaster, and that Allah SWT will bestow His blessings upon our beloved Bekasi Regency," said Endin.

He emphasized that Ramadan values such as discipline, patience, sincerity, and social concern must be reflected in the attitude of ASN when serving citizens.

Endin also reminded that adjustments to working hours during Ramadan should not diminish the enthusiasm and quality of public services.

"We must be even more enthusiastic and improve our service. While our working hours have generally been adjusted, we expect all civil servants to remain committed to serving the public. In this blessed month, with improved service, God willing, our good deeds will also increase," he added.

He invited all regional apparatus to use Ramadan as a time of reflection so that bureaucratic performance would be more responsive and oriented towards public satisfaction.

This Ramadan Tarhib activity also serves as a means to strengthen ties between employees and build a religious atmosphere within the Bekasi Regency government environment.

The Bekasi Regency Government hopes that this activity will encourage ASN to provide more humane, professional, and integrity-based public services during Ramadan and beyond.
