PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Regional Secretary of West Java Province Herman Suryatman appreciates the contribution of companies that help encourage the achievement of community welfare, through "Corporate Social Responsibility" (CSR).

According to Herman, improving people's standard of living or in other words improving macro development indicator figures requires togetherness with the spirit of "sabilulungan".

So with the Pentahelix concept, where business groups are involved, it is hoped that it can accelerate the development targets that we want to achieve.

"This is a "technical meeting" of West Java CSR partners, many companies have joined here and all are committed to providing serious attention to improving community welfare," said Herman Suryatman while leading the "High Level Meeting" of West Java CSR Partner Company Leaders at the West Java Provincial Bappeda office, Bandung City, Wednesday (23/10/2024).

Herman revealed various lines of problems in society ranging from "stunting", community empowerment, productive economy, and so on, ready to be supported by West Java CSR partner companies.

Furthermore, to be more accelerative, synergy is also needed with district and city governments, as well as communities who are willing to actively participate in the programs implemented.

Herman also said that synergy between companies and the government is needed so that the CSR distributed is right on target and effectively targets or achievements being aimed at in development.

"Of course, this requires synergy with the city and district governments in West Java, and also needs to be supported by community participation," said Herman.

"We would like to thank our friends in the business world, God willing, your kindness will be rewarded abundantly by God Almighty," he added.

"The more you give, the more you get", the more you give, the more you receive," concluded Herman.
