PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Regional Secretary of West Java Province Herman Suryatman attended the peak of the 25th Anniversary of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) at the West Java Provincial Level in the courtyard of the Regional Secretariat A, Bandung City, Tuesday (17/12/2024).
This event carries the theme "Strengthening the Foundation of DWP Organizational Transformation Towards Golden Indonesia 2045".
In his speech, Herman emphasized the importance of Dharma Wanita's role in supporting ASN families to realize West Java as the most advanced province in Indonesia.
"If the Dharma Wanita is strong, God willing, her husband will also be strong. In the end, West Java can become the most advanced province in Indonesia, supported by 27 advanced cities and districts," said Herman.
Furthermore, Herman explained the concept of Golden Indonesia 2045, which is the projection of Indonesia becoming one of the developed countries in the world.
According to studies by international institutions such as McKinsey, the World Bank, and the IMF, Indonesia is predicted to be among the top four developed countries in 2045 along with China, India, and the United States.
"Indonesia Emas is a condition where we become a developed country in 2045. Currently, we are still a developing country with a per capita income of around 4,900 US dollars per year or around Rp6 million per month. Later, the qualification for a developed country is an income of 12,000 US dollars and above or around Rp15 million per month," explained Herman.
The Regional Secretary added that the income of ASN in West Java is currently approaching the qualifications of developed countries.
"ASN income in West Java, including TPP, ranges from Rp10 million to Rp15 million per month. This means that in terms of income, West Java ASN has met the requirements of a developed country," he said.
However, he stressed that the biggest challenge is to improve the welfare of 50 million West Java residents so that they can achieve that income.
"We start from the ASN family, from Dharma Wanita. Dharma Wanita's task is to prosper and make its members happy," said Herman.
He also praised the role of women, especially DWP members as important pillars in the family and development.
"Mothers are the strongest creatures on this earth. Support from mothers is very important for the success of husbands as ASN," he said.
