PORTALJABAR, TASIKMALAYA REGENCY - Regional Secretary of West Java Province Herman Suryatman reviewed the implementation of the Re-vote (PSU) in Tasikmalaya Regency at a number of polling stations (TPS), Saturday (19/4/2025).

One of the places visited was TPS 10, Babakan Kaliki Village, RT 004/RW 007, Mangunreja Village, Mangunreja District, Tasikmalaya Regency.

Based on field monitoring, Herman estimates that the level of community participation in Tasikmalaya Regency in the PSU is in the range of 65-75 percent.

"Today is the peak of the PSU implementation for Tasikmalaya Regency, and we, together with the Forkopimda, both the Province and Regency, are working hand in hand to support the Tasikmalaya Regency KPU," said Herman Suryatman.

He hopes that the implementation of the PSU will run smoothly and be carried out honestly, fairly, directly, publicly, freely and confidentially.

The KPUD is supervised by the Tasikmalaya Regency Bawaslu, and the West Java Provincial Government supports it from the budget side, where the PSU budget requirement reaches IDR 50 billion, and based on the agreement of the Governor of West Java and the Regent of Tasikmalaya, the need is borne together.

"So, from West Java Province, Rp. 25 billion has been disbursed because we agreed that the Governor and the Regent would each share half," said Herman.

"As a form of our responsibility and the other day everything was disbursed according to plan, for budgeting, of course we hope that the administration, implementation, and accountability are orderly," he said.

Herman also said that after the voting process ended at 13.00 WIB, it would continue to the next stage.

He hopes that all processes will run as they should so that the best PSU results are obtained and in accordance with the hopes of the West Java residents in Tasikmalaya Regency.

"Regarding public participation, of course our hopes are maximum. We predict public participation in the range of 65 to 70 percent. We hope it can reach 80 percent. We will wait for the last at 13.00," he said.

Herman also said that all logistics were distributed well, then incentives had also been disbursed, the Tasikmalaya Regency Government had distributed them to the KPUD, Bawaslu and other agencies up to the Linmas officers.

"Overall, the implementation of the PSU went smoothly and whatever the results, hopefully they will be the best for the people of Tasikmalaya Regency," he added.

Meanwhile, the Regional Secretary of Tasikmalaya Regency, Mohammad Zen, said that all aspects of the PSU this time ran smoothly.

"From the beginning, financing was ready, logistics to field needs were all well met and security and order were all under control," said Zen.
